Vocational Education Vocational Education at Dudley is a balanced program of studies and work experiences that have the common objective of producing competent workers for our industrial society. Its purpose is to develop the skills, abilities, understandings, attitudes, work habits, knowledge and infor¬ mation needed for students who desire to enter employment. The objectives are: 1. To enable the student to become familiar with the language of the trade and the world of work. 2. To develop in each student a measure of skills and knowledge in the use of common tools, machines, materials, products and processes of industry. 3.
