The beginning of the fall semester 1968, a total of 776 students or approximately 50 percent of the student body enrolled in some course or courses of mathematics. Foreign Languages In order to insure better transition from the high school to the college level of language study, the teachers of the Foreign Language Department felt that their first step should be to establish good com¬ munication with as many college professors as pos¬ sible. This led to the description of the general strengths and weaknesses of language students who enter college and the outlining of the specific differ¬ ence of instruction on the college level.
