Basketball Team left to right 1st ROW: Waldo Martin, Raymond Pettiford, 2nd ROW: Lawrence Williams, Ron¬ ald Lee, John Guy, Kenneth Tapp, Joey Herring, 3rd ROW: Delweyn Johnson, Larry Phifer, Joe Graves, Reginald Austin, 4th ROW: Franklin Douglas, Wayne Henry and Joe Frushee. Basketball Dudley ' s basketball has so far posted a 2--9 record this year as they enter a rebuilding stage. Seniors dominated last year ' s team so that this is the first year of actual competition for such standouts as Kenny Tapp and Lawrence Williams. Kenny Tapp has had the most productive sea¬ son as he clipped the nets for 23 points against Parkland. Lawerence Williams had a high of 20 against Hillside. Williams is also the leading re- bounder. 227

This Year ' s edition of heavy batters and sticky gloves seems to be impres¬ sive . Back to continue their attacks on the diamonds are Claude Boone, last year ' s At¬ torney H. Frye MVP award winner, Garry Russell (pitcher 4 won 3 lost), Reginald Smith (outfielder), Reginald Booker (shortstop) Abner Donnell (2nd baseman) and Gar¬ cia Howard (pitcher). 229
