Top Brass on Campus AFJROTC and the cadets on the campus were honored to have two distinguished servicemen visit them this year. Supposedly on a routine inspection tour the visitors gave high praise to Colonel Johnson and Sergeant Bell for the progress made with the AFJROTC unit stationed here at Good ol Dudley High . Pictured above are Col. Johnson, principal Franklin J. Brown, Colonel Rivers, Miss AFJROTC Ressie Guy, Master Sergeant Gamble, and Cadet Lt. Col. Thomas Murphy. Cadets must have two series of uniforms each year. Below Phyllis makes certain that each cadet shirt is arranged according to size and length. These Summer Khaki shirts have been put aside for the winter. Phyllis, like several others who do volunteer work in AFJROTC, works with CMSgt. Walter Bell, retired. Her duties in¬ clude typing, bookkeeping and sorting. Other girls who work in this department are Gwendolyn Warren, Carolyn Curtis Deloris Thompson, and Evelyn Williams.

Yearbook Photographers Clifton Johnson Phillip McAlphin No Yearbook can be complete without the services of photographers. But this year the Panther has more than just photographers, they were professionals, at least they seemed professional. The quality of their work can be seen on every page. Our grat itude to them. Never have we had such efficient men who got pleasure from working with the staff of The Dudley Panther. Not only did they take the pictures, but they de¬ veloped, printed and enlarged every picture on their own time and in the school dark¬ room . Of course, they began as rank amateurs. Colonel Andrew Johnson ' s guiding hand and constant probing and his superb equipment contributed heavily toward their suc¬ cess . 201
