The executive officer works close with and advises the cadet commander on related AFJROTC matters. The administrative officer, information officer, and operations officer all coordinate their respective functions with the executive officer and cadet commander. The cadet first sergeant acts in the capacity of a go between from the cadet commander and other cadets. Cadet officers and MCOs are selected primarily on their leadership abilities and potentials as Air Force officers. 192
