Safety Patrol The objectives of the Safety Patrols are to preserve order and to aid in keeping smooth traffic in the halls. Qualifications for being a patrol are neat appearance, courtesy, promptness, good judgement, and a good recommendation from a teacher. The patrols are assisted by the monitors, whose job is to keep the halls quiet during class hours. The chief of the Safety is Reginald Greene. The advisor of the force is Marvin H. Watkins.

All of the commanders, especially the cadet commander, has a great deal of authority over the other cadets in so far as seeing to it that they follow orders and in general, stay shaped up. The executive officer works close with and advises the cadet commander on related AFJROTC matters. The administrative officer, information officer, and operations officer all coordinate their respective functions with the executive officer and cadet commander. The cadet first sergeant acts in the capacity of a go between from the cadet commander and other cadets. Cadet officers and MCOs are selected primarily on their leadership abilities and potentials as Air Force officers. 192
