V f gr 01 ifjwBy j T P ' : , d - ‘ m M The purposes of the Industrial Cooperative Training program are to provide work experience education for high school students primarily terminal in nature in which the school and industries cooperate in giving the desired training and to offer vocational training in specialized areas in which only a few are needed annually or in areas that are not feasible for the school to establish school shops for training. The program definitely aids the students in selecting his vocation and in pre¬ paring him for employment by providing him with occupational information, guidance, on-the-job training. 168
