Cooperative Office Training Co-operative Office Occupations Co-operative Office Occupations is a new vocational course offered to Dudley this year. The Coordinator of the program is Mrs. Jamesena D. Watkins. The purpose of COO is to give those students interested in office occupations an opportunity and the experience of working in offices. Employers co-operate with the school and the students in providing supervised training in preparation for secretarial and general office careers. The students are paid minimum salaries while they are learning. The PREREQUISITES for enrolling in COO are: 1. The students must be 16 years of age or over. 2. The students should have at least one year of typing. 3. The students should possess a career interest in the office occupations field with willingness and aptitude for studying the related skills. 163
