Sophomores Select Leaders For 83-84 Class Activities Sophomore officers were elected by secret ballot. To qualify. candidates had to be a sophomore, have at least a ”C average, and be free from constant office discipline. The officers were Gwendolyn Shaw, president: Michelle Peoples, vice- president: Torra Jackson, secretary: Tracy Clayton, treasurer: and Horace Wil- liams. parliamentarian. The officers participated in fund-raising activities, helped with decorations in the homecoming parade, and discussed plans for improving performance on the State Student Assessment Test. Mr. and Miss Sophomore for the 1983- '84 school year were Kelvin Farmer and Sandra Harris. While listening to his favorite cassette. Chris Pe- terson enjoys his free time.
