Class Elects Mr. And Miss Senior, Overall Officers Mr. and Miss Senior of 983-84. who were elected on a popular-vote basis by their fellow seniors, were Gregory Bostic and Laveria Sanders. The persons appointed to this position must have an outstanding personality, maintain a C average, never have been expelled from school and have a satisfactory record of conduct. The election of Mr. and Miss Senior took place during the first month of the school year. The major responsibilities of Mr. and Miss Senior were to represent the Senior Class in the homecoming parade and other school-related activities. Senior officers were elected during the first month of school by their fellow classmates. Their major duties were to spearhead fund-raising activities to cover the expense of senior activities such as the senior trip, and to organize committees for gradu- ation. Michael Wells gets everything right before taking senior drape and tux pictures. Senior officers for 1983 '84 are Gregory Bostic, vice-president. Laveria Sanders, parliamentarian: Joanette Barnes, president: Denise Brown, secre tary: and Cheryl Roberts, treasurer. Not pictured is Jennifer Lanier, business manager Jennifer Lanier helps decorate Mr. and Miss Sen- ior's car for the homecoming parade. 115
