Play defense! Hustle!These words and others led the 1981-82 Tigerettes to a 15-9 winning season. The team consisted of three seniors, three juniors, and five sophomores. The girls practiced five days a week for two hours to strive for perfection. The team received honorable mention every week in the State lll-A Prep Poll. Defense was stressed first and offense second. When asked how he felt about the team. Coach Don White stated. The team is young and inexperi- enced. but at the end, we will be one of the best teams in the state. Coach Don white smiles after a victory.
