Club Members Attend Fairs Under the sponsorship of Mrs. Kay Bevil, the newest organization on campus was the Photography Club. The club’s purpose was to offer learning opportunities to the members not only about cameras but also about the artistry of photography. Along with speakers from the community, several Shanks teachers contributed information and supported the club. Club members hoped to have entries representing Shanks in the county, district and state fairs in the years to come. Long range plans included equipping a darkroom for club members’ use.
