My Congratulations John B . Casey Headmaster to the members of the Class of 1956 on the completion of their high school career. You are fortunate to be entering the business world at a time when great opportunities for employment exist. I hope that the virtues of industry and integrity, which we have tried to develop in you, will remain with you throughout your life . Your courses of study were designed to teach you to work and to learn the value of overcoming difficult assignments. The friends you have made in this school, both teachers and pupils, should serve to teach you the value of getting along with people . This school world in which you have been living should prepare you for the world of industry, higher education, and home building which you are about to enter . This year, we are dedicating the Yearbook to three members of the faculty who have retired: the Misses Frances R, Campion, Rosanna M. Dowd, and Hazel W. Ruggles. They were all wonderful teachers who gave their time and talents to the youth of this city for a great many years. To each of them we extend our hope for a long, happy, and well- deserved period of rest. You, the Class of 1956, could do no better than to model your lives after these fine teachers. 5
