66155 Oficem-' une, f954 Dear Classmates: As the doors of jamaica High School elose behind us, the second milestone of our lives will be completed. The trials and tribulations which we have encoun- tered during our stay here are only a means of strengthening us to meet the more serious challenges of life ahead. lNe must now ehoose our roads to success. Some may lead to business and others to higher education. But regardless of which field we enter, let us always remember that this world is like a ball of clay in our hands: it is ours to mold as we wish. Let us. as conscientious citizens, shape it into a masterpiece Though we are all eager to unfold the pages of our future, it is natural for us to recall the many pleasant experiences which filled our years at jamaica High. We shall not forget the thrill of cheering our teams to victory or the anxiety of awaiting G.O. election returns. The many close friendships which we have ae- quired, as well as the untiring efforts of our teachers. will always remain in our memories. Congratulations on your commencement and best wishes for success in the future. Sincerely, john Clegg, President Diana Chiarello, Vice-President JOHN CLEGG DIANA CHIARELLO Wadi W W 3 M' PETER VOGT GAIL PECK Treasurer Secretary in-I hh-l-v if 1

C2!aA5 icerb JOHN WARD 'I HERESA MCGREEVY anuary, f 954 Dear Classmates: As we terminate our four years at J.H.S., we naturally look back, after thinking for a while, we unconsciously search for a way to say thanks, for only now do we realize fully how much j.H.S. has done for us. To her we owe the friendships, the good times, the achieve- ments of the past four yearsg through her we have benefited intellectually, athletic- ally, and socially. Now we must leave, and face the future alone. And after a little deliberation, we decide just how we can say thanks to her by continuing to grow in the wisdom and integrity that she has fostered in us, and by trying to be, in the future, that kind of responsible citizens that is neces- sary to society. This is how we can say thanks to her, because this was her aim. Congratulations on your graduation. May you all enjoy full, happy, futures and success in your efforts in life. Sincerely, John Ward, President Theresa McGreevy, V. P. MARILYN COHN Secrelary IRWIN KOSTAL Treasurer
