enior Cfarid icerd MARIANGELA VILLEGAS President PHILIP KURNIT Vice-President Dear Classmates: The time has rushed by. We canlt believe it's really four years. Having spent so much time in getting acquainted, we haven,t been conscious of the monotony of studying. Yet, we have always been aware of the understanding, patience and help with which our teachers and parents have led us through our high school careers. Now we are appreciative of the opportunity to thank them, one and all. During these years, we have realized the chal- lenges which will confront us in our attempts to live in a peaceful world. There is peace among us, for it thrives in the seed of a friendly spirit, in harmony, in understanding, in respect. Let us hope that in our future lies the propagation of the seed of world peace. Speaking for the Senior Class, we would like to thank Mr. Hopkins and the wonderful faculty of Jamaica High. You will be hearing from us-good citizens, preserving the benefits and accepting the responsibilities of our democracy. Sincerely, MARIANGELA VILLEGAS PHILIP KURNIT SALLY SHARPTON DAVID STOOP Tremunfr Sec,-emry
