Both Mr. and Mrs. Bush have devoted their life to the teaching profession. Mrs. Bush teaches in an elementary school near Anniston. In recognition of valuable service rendered the college and the student body as a teacher, counselor and friend, this yearbook is dedicated to Mr. Newbern W. Bush, who has taught mathematics in the classroom and has exemplified good citizenship on the campus. Mr. Bush has resided and taught at Jacksonville for many years. During these years, he has aided fifty or more college students in securing fellowships to continue their education. [ n ]
