But to put the friendships, emotions, good days, bad days, trials and tribulations on a printed page is a job too great for any publisher. When reading your annual, we trust that you will find there the high points of this school year. It is our hope that in future years the MIMOSA will brighten your memories of the activities and people that made 1953 a wonderful year at Jacksonville State College. LltiRARY STATE TEACHERS COLLEGE JACKSONVILLE. ALA. ‘Dedication Our school has many traditions, customs, and personalities which have almost become institutions. One of the personalities for which our school has become justly famous is Dr. Robert P. Felgar. Having faithfully taught at Jacksonville State College for twenty-three years, Dr. Felgar retires this year with the love and appreciation of students and alumni. His career has been characterized by the devotion and allegiance he has shown to our school and to the principles of fine teaching. We will miss this man who has been and will always be wholeheartedly for young people. Our inconsiderate gestures and escapades have contributed to the silver in his hair, just as our moments of sincerity and genuine effort have made his teaching worthwhile. As evidence of the lasting place he has in our hearts and memories, we sincerely dedicate this MIMOSA to Dr. Robert P. Felgar. ■ m buildings BIBB GRAVES HALL The Administration Building GYMNASIUM The Health and Physical Education Building DORMITORIES DAUGETTE HALL Named for the tale Dr. C. W.
