S. T. C. THK TEACOALA mo S. T. C. greetings from the (president To the members of the Annual Staff, to the clam it represents and to all my hoys and girls constituting the student body: Thank you most sincerely for this opportunity of expressing the appreciation which I feel in my heart to you one and all, for your kindness, your sympathy and your support during the year. Your splendid loyalty und co-operation together with that of our high class faculty, and of the State Board of Education have resulted in an enrollment in resilience of over 800 college people since September, which breaks all past records. With two years added to the curriculum and with the greater comfort as well as greater opportunities afforded by the erection of Bibb Graves Hall, class room and administration building, and Daugette Hall, dormitory for girls, with their equipment, the future indeed seems bright and 1 hope that everyone of you will have your heart set upon securing a degree from this college. My ideal is to develop a great Teacher Training Institution here which will provoke the approval and awaken the pride of the State and Nation, and this can be accomplished with the continued co-operation and assistance of all who have helped thus far. You. my dear friends and children all. make me personally, feel very strong and determined to put forth every effort to that end and in your behalf. In furthering this ideal, my humble prayer is that I may be able to do something, however small, for every one of you. which may influence your life for good to the end that each one of us may be able to think right, to feel right and to act right. For the Annual Staff please be assured that you have my best wishes for that success in your arduous undertaking calling for so much effort and sacrifice, which your most sanguine expectations anticipate; and to the student body, one and all. please accept my affectionate regards and greetings. C. W. DAUGETTE, President. I'ufi'
