Hlid-Hear Freshmen On lanuary 28, l946, we entered lacksonville High School. There were 28 of us trying to adjust ourselves to high school life. Still present in our minds were our impressive graduation exercises of lanuary 25. The pageant, which we presented, was entitled 'lThe Spirit of Citizenship. Singing by the girls glee club and boys' choir helped to make the speaking parts very effective. The American Legion and Auxiliary awards were presented to Harold Brown and Edith Boston. These two students were selected for outstanding characteristics of leadership and citizenship. We are looking forward with a great deal of pleasure to our remaining years in high school.
