Board E ucatlon The Board of Education is elected by the people It is so organized that the terms of three members expire each year and three new members are elected The board con sists of nine members the pres id nt the secretary and the superintendent of schools lt is divided into the following com mlttees lnstruction Building and Grounds Finance Sup plies and Board of Control The board meets the second Tuesday of each month They analyze and decide various matters of city wide school pol icy select the faculty balance the school budget and approve new textbooks Much of the success of lacksonville schools lies on the shoulders of this very capable group Left to right: Mr Agger, Mr Blodgett Berdeana Benson, Mr, F.
