She wore the traditional white and carried a mixed white bouquet. The Maid of Honor, Lois lngels wore Chartreuse. Wanda Hopper, the first maid, was attired in lavender. Mary L. Baldwin, second maid, wore yellow. The three carried contrasting bouquets. Berdeana Benson was chosen by the 'Treble Clef girls as the outstanding junior to receive the honor of being Crownbearer. She wore pink and carried the crown on a cushion of the same color. The program was gay and cheerful. lending the full beauty of spring to the stage. Preceding the program Sally Meyer and Noel Rousey, accomplished young pianists, played while the audience was gathering. For the first time in several years the Queen sang for her court. Valencia pleased us all with Birthday by Huntington Woodman. The court left the stage to the traditional strains of l'Land of Hope and Glory. Those girls who were seniors left with the assurance that they had completed four wonderful years of choir. Those of us who have witnessed their productions and performances thoroughly agree they have made a lasting impression in f. H. S. and have set a standard that will be hard to surpass. noon. Organized last year under the leadership of Coach Mark Dean, the club developed rapidly and successfully. Directed by Coach Bob Kraushaar the varsity group realized higher ambitions this year. Carry- ing the club off to a good start they gave f'ville one of those 'ole time White Washings when homecoming time came around. Due credit should go to those huskies who saw that the bonfire was heaped with stuff to burn. Those handsome lads in their letter sweaters added dignity and prestige to the crowning of the homecoming queens, fAm I kidding?l The Letterman's Club did a grand job on the Athletic Banquet. The fellows planned the program and executed it with fine style. They are good sports from Way back when and have done a great deal in promoting athletics in l. H. S.
