BASKETBALL The winter sport that kept the girls busy was the old peach-basket game called basketball. Here a game gets underway with a lump ball in the center circle. Serve, Five love. Lorene, Jo, and Carolyn display the techniques of lawn tennis. VOLLEYBALL . A fall activity that was popular in the physical education program was vol- leyball. This sport was enioyed by both boys and girls with several closely con- tested games being played. The girls re-enact a typical scene.
