Senior Class History In the year 1943 A.D. 24 little darlings set out on a new and exciting experience — school. Our teacher, Miss Kemp, taught us readin ' , ritin ' , and ' rithmetic. Her successor the following year was Miss Ramey, who taught us more about the 3 R ' s and helped us along to Room 3. There waiting for us was Mrs. Williams who drilled us on our multiplication table. This year was supplemented with a few minor love affairs. In the 4th grade, we spent half of our time quarreling with one another while Mrs. Walters spent the other half handing out punishments and teaching us the rules of good behavior. Mrs. Fulhart showed us how to work with fractions and helped us make a map of the United States from different printed materials, in the fifth grade. Our last year on the grade side was spent under the leadership of Mr. Kitt, who taught us Doctor Doolittle. Page tiventy-eight
