19 -- THE BLACKBOARD -'- 55 PROPHECY To see ourselves ten years from now is a task that requires more imagination than I possess. I would like to think of my fellow classmates as being prosperous, successful, and happy in life. But I will venture to take a look on the future of my fellow class- mates in the next ten years. Joy Shirley is listed among the Bell Telephone employees as chief op- erator at Indianapolis, Ind. Her assistant is her high school companion, Lucille Williams. Terry Ross is drawing cartoons for the Indianapolis Star and Ranny Moxley is his assistant. They always were big clowns. Rudy Hiland is still trying to make his million dollars. He has in- vested most of his money in stocks and blonds. Linda Neff is a clerk at Block's in Indianapolis. She is not yet mar- ried. She is waiting until Roger Gallatin decides to settle down. Jim Spivey has become a jet pilot for the U. S. Air Force. He always was up in the clouds. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Roberts fthe Mrs. was formerly Donna Jacksonj are very happily married, and are prosperous sheep raising farmers. Sue and Gene Henry are happily married, living in New Jersey, rais- ing their eight children. Alvin Pennington is the manager of the Stock Car races at Speedway, and owns a large per cent of the cars that run in the races. Nancy Dunbar, Joyce Jones. and Leanna Ebaugh have gone together and bought the Turf Bar at Indianapolis, Indiana. They bought in hopes that they could find some rich men there. Juanita Lay has become a beauty operator at Indianapolis. And from what I've heard a very good one, too. Bill Pepple has become Vice-President of the Allison Corp. in Indian- apolis. He and his wife are happily married and own their own home in Clermont. Bill Neff and Fred Rodgers own a modeling shop in Chicago. They always did have a way with figures. Garry Shelton and Gene McCullough have bought a theater in New York City. But I'm not going to tell what kind it is. Shirlee Montgomery and her husband own a grocery store in Lizton, Indiana. They also are raising a large family. Anndra Cornett is happily married and has two more companions to play with Reggie. Robert fBobJ Hoskins is basketball coach at the Granville Wells School and his team is coming along very nicely this year. .As for myself, I am a stenographer at the United Airlines in Miami, Florida. I am also married and live in Coral Gables, Florida. -Written by Shirley Walker 15
