THE BLACKBOARD 54 Her laughter comes easy, To her life is fun. So Lucy, be sure to share it, With the right one. He has fun at every turn, Even as he strives to learn. Jim Neal is the one to know, When your spirits are way down low. You wouldn't say he's the brainy kind, But of Jim Pratt we do find, His nature cheerful, his attitude right, Especially for stirring up fun at night. There is rarely much that he will say, Although there's a lot on his mind, But you will find about his day, Sonnie makes the most of his time. Our best phone operator, But not for long, 'cause you see, A very happy farming wife, Is what Mary Lou shall be. She's sweet and petite, She does honor to our class. We are quick to claim her, Patricia is the lass. She dearly loves to sing and dance, And she dreams of her big romance. To a hope of success she does hold, So to Jeanie, we wish fortunes untold. He has a very open mind, Thinks of girls some of the time. Still, he wants to increase his knowledge, Bill Weber plans to go to college. He dearly wishes there was a way, That all of his life could be a play. He may find a way, we don't doubt, Yes, it's Mickey we're speaking about. 17 -Jessie Gregory
