SE IOR CLASS PROPHECY TIME: 1967 Place: ENID, OKLAHOMA Our graduating class of 1957 is now scattered throughout the world. On this beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon let 's set out to visit our classmates. Means of travel have moder- nized greatly since we graduated ten years ago. The latest development in air travel is the magnificent enclosed magic carpet, created and designed by Bill Lehotsky. Upon entering this luxurious invention, we see that Larry Lambert will be our pilot and George Yuhas, co-pilot. - Our first stop will be in New Orleans on Basin Street where we find the famous Don Preston playing the blues on his saxophone. Here we get out and walk down to the wa- terfront. There is a large ocean-liner docking and the captain is none other than Bob Pittman. His private stewardess, Thelma Richey, is with him. We 're off again and as we drive along, we pass Wilbur King's goat farm. With a herd of 500 goats his much- needed assistant, Bemard Lewis, comes from the field to greet us. The next place we stop is a large Navy air base, where we find David Stearns and Mike Daringer among a number of men out on manuevers. We go over to the air field and see a t0p-tate air pilot, Paul Manypenny, landing his B-29. As we pass headquarters Joe Clay, the com- manding officer, comes over to meet us. He tells us that another of our classmates, Helen Allen, is his private secretary and that Nelson Begeot has worked his way up to Admiral of the Navy. Well, we must be on our way and we're heading for the west coast. As we enter Hollywood limits, an exclusive beauty salon catches our eye. It is owned and operated by Florita Shaffer, A large number of sophisticates patronize her salon. As we proceed on, we come to the intersection of Hollywood and Vine, a soldier and WAC are waiting for the light. When we approach, we find 'they are Major Norman Hunt and Lieutenant Anna Mae Hood. While we are this near we must go and visit Disneyland. There we find one of Walt Disney 's top artists, Jim Sullivan. On our visit to Wyoming we discover that Allen Blazek is caretaker of Yellowstone National Park. Drifting on to Chicago, we pass the world's largest restaurant, Jim 's Stork Club, built and designed by Jim Hash. His world famous chef is Ronald Chick. 'Margie Harden 's Charm School is next to Iim's Restaurant. Her personal hair stylist is Ioan Gura. Our destination now is New York. Passing La Guardia Airport, we see Brad Smith getting ready to fly his jet cross-country. A short ride down Fifth Avenue takes us to Sak's, New York 's famous department SIOIC, where Nancy Urich is an exclusive buyer. While we 're here, we 'll look up Geri Keck who is la WAVE, working at the Naval Recruit ing Office. As we leave New York, we recognize Bill 's Pool Room owned by Bill Dickson. Parked outside is a new Jaguar, which belongs to Delmar Stanley, the sports editor of the New York Times. Flying homeward we stop at the now famous summer resort, Lake Milton. The new spectacular, Purdy's Lakeside Hospital has just been completed with Diane Purdy as the founder. The head nurse is Mavis Henry with Janet Manypenny as a laboratory techni- cian. Also at the hospital we see a new intern, Olin Harkleroad. Now to our Alma Mater, Jackson-Milton. In the hall we see Hazel Rhodes going to her Senior English Class. Emmett Bolyard is conducting a shop class. Let's walk down to the center and see Kenny Miller, Executive of the Mahoning National Bank. Paul Smith, his lawyer, is there visiting his client. At Pearl City, Ronald Walton is Vice President of the branch office of the Republic Steel Mills. Bill Krimmer is top electrician. The class of 57 has been very successful. We leave by way of the magic carpet. Many thanks for your carpet, Bill!
