My, what a beautiful modern farm we just passed. It couldn't belong to anyone but Paul Dierkes. I'll bet he has 500 cows, 2,000 chickens, and 100,000,000 acres of land. That's our Paul, doing everything in a big way. We are now passing the big Isaly farm, and guess who owns the entire Isaly Company. George Theisler. We all knew his soda-jerking days weren't for long. Here we are at the concert hall. Let's look at our program. Miss Gwen Thomas, director, Richard Vasko, the famous trumpet player, and Miss Margaret Stearns in an operatic solo. I guess the senior class of 1955 really did have some dignified students in it. As long as we are in Youngstown, let us see if we can find some more of our friends. A logical place to look would be Youngstown College. Well look who we see, John Marshall. He tells us that he is a big oil man in Texas, and he doesn't know what to do with his money, so he's going to buy Youngs- town College.I am sure if we look long enough we will see other people that we know. Look, there are two women standing in the hall, and I'll bet they- 're professors. Lets see if I was right. Why it's Ann Schmidt, English pro- fessor, and Leona Wilson, Business Professor. Who is that distinguished gentleman coming down the hall? Doesn't he look familiar? You'll never guess who it is. It's Ernest Schleicher, Chemistry Professor. I hear that the wife of the President of the United States is making a personal appearance in town tonight. We can't miss that. Here she comes now, and it's Mary Kovach with her personal beautician, Dorothy Klinge- man, and her private secretary, Carol Berry. Oh something is wrong with my car. I'd better pull into this garage and have it fixed. The sign says, Donald Galayde, Finest Mechanic in Town. Wow, look at that racer pulling into the station. It must take an expert dri- ver to handle that, and I see the driver is just that. He is Steve Cunn. I must ask him where he learned to drive like that. He told me that he learned all h knows from Ray Roof, driving instructor. I believe we have stayed in Youngstown long enough. Let's take a plane to New York and see who we can find there. I have always wanted to see a pilot of a plane in action, so let's take a look. Our air line hostess, Donna Shrader, will conduct us to the pilot, who is Helmut Dettmer. We will first visit the building of Charm magazine. From reading the magazine we all know that Marisue Frank is the head editor, and Cecilia Rovder and Evelyn Collins are her head artists. There is a model posing for them now, and it's Florence May. Florence tells us she keeps well-groomed by attending Barbara Short's hair dressing salon. Let's visit there. Barbara has a well-trained staff. Her dietician is Ruth Welk, and her cosmetologist is Ruth Weaver. I'l1 bet that the New York roller-skating star Linda Snow- den has her hair done here. 8

SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY I am the voice of the year 1965, and I thought it would be interesting to look up the students who were seniors at J ackson-Milton high school in 1955. I wonder where I will find them??? The most appropriate place to begin looking is our alma mater--Jackson -Milton. Look who is now sitting in the Superintendent's chair in the office-- Gilbert Chalfant! We all knew Gib would go places at Jackson-Milton. We must visit a few classrooms before we leave the building. This class room ap- pears to be a math class and who do you suppose is the teacher? Ruthann Lehotsky. There seems to be some type of athletic meeting in the next class room. The coach is giving the boys a lecture, and the coach is Jay Simmons, himself. I guess quite a few of the 1955 seniors just couldn,t leave dear old Jackson-Milton. The little town of North Jackson as we knew it is now a big city, and as all big cities, Jackson has very heavy traffic. From where we are standing we can see a policewoman directing traffic, and she looks like our own Melva Powroznyk. She has stopped a cab driver for speeding. Let's go see who it is. Why it's David Shoff. I guess he ran so many of his pals around in school that he just decided to start a cab service. Just look at that beautiful new building sitting across the street! What is it? The sign out front tells us that it is a medical center. We must visit this, so let's go inside. Listen, they are paging that world renowned surgeon, Richard Clegg, but he couldn't carry on without his competent nurse, Pa- tricia Prokop, the Florence Nightengale of 1965, or Carol Davis, his private secretary. Someone told us that there is a library here for the patients. We must take a look at it. The librarian looks very familiar. Why it's Martha Marshall. She should be very happy here among all these books. The big city of North Jackson also has its own TV station. I wonder if we know any- one who is working there. Oh, we are just in time to see a program being te- levised. The program is Home Makers of Today, starring Mrs. Carl Bun- gard and Mrs. Freddie DeZee, or Janice Kimpton and Ola Ann Book as we knew them. Who is directing this wonderful show? Why its Wayne Harmon. Wayne seems to be leaving this program and going somewhere else in the station. I'll bet he has another program to direct. Yes, he does, and it is the Dave Metzler Hourf' Mister TV himself. Dave has really gone places with his singing. I hear there is going to be a symphony concert in Youngstown tonight, and I have a feeling we will see some familiar faces there. So let us be off for Youngstown.

Right below the beauty shop is Dewey Clark's dance studio. Larry Bay- tos, pro-basketball player, and his coach, Jim McKee, attend classes regu- larly for improvement of coordination. Dewey offered to take us on a tour of some buildings in New York. I asked to see the New York Telephone Company. Why there is Nancy Truitt, and she tells us she is the head telephone supervisor. Now for a little recrea- tion Dewey is taking us to a riding academy. It belongs to Jack Davitt, of course. But then Jack always did have a love of horses. For a change of pace, 1et's visit Reno. As Reno is famous for its casinos, we must visit one. The most famous is Earl Phillips's. This is really a beau- tiful place. We are just in time for the floor show, and the billing outside we see that Phyllis Kurzawa is the entertainer. We notice a very handsome Ad- miral sitting in a corner watching Phyllis. It is none other than Earl Sch- leicher. He has really worked his way up in the Navy. Well, we have covered all the men and women who were our 1955 sen- iors. They all are very successful as we knew they would be, and I know they will be even more successful in ten more years. --Phyllis Kurzawa
