SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY I am the voice of the year 1965, and I thought it would be interesting to look up the students who were seniors at J ackson-Milton high school in 1955. I wonder where I will find them??? The most appropriate place to begin looking is our alma mater--Jackson -Milton. Look who is now sitting in the Superintendent's chair in the office-- Gilbert Chalfant! We all knew Gib would go places at Jackson-Milton. We must visit a few classrooms before we leave the building. This class room ap- pears to be a math class and who do you suppose is the teacher? Ruthann Lehotsky. There seems to be some type of athletic meeting in the next class room. The coach is giving the boys a lecture, and the coach is Jay Simmons, himself. I guess quite a few of the 1955 seniors just couldn,t leave dear old Jackson-Milton. The little town of North Jackson as we knew it is now a big city, and as all big cities, Jackson has very heavy traffic. From where we are standing we can see a policewoman directing traffic, and she looks like our own Melva Powroznyk. She has stopped a cab driver for speeding. Let's go see who it is. Why it's David Shoff. I guess he ran so many of his pals around in school that he just decided to start a cab service. Just look at that beautiful new building sitting across the street! What is it? The sign out front tells us that it is a medical center. We must visit this, so let's go inside. Listen, they are paging that world renowned surgeon, Richard Clegg, but he couldn't carry on without his competent nurse, Pa- tricia Prokop, the Florence Nightengale of 1965, or Carol Davis, his private secretary. Someone told us that there is a library here for the patients. We must take a look at it. The librarian looks very familiar. Why it's Martha Marshall. She should be very happy here among all these books. The big city of North Jackson also has its own TV station. I wonder if we know any- one who is working there. Oh, we are just in time to see a program being te- levised. The program is Home Makers of Today, starring Mrs. Carl Bun- gard and Mrs. Freddie DeZee, or Janice Kimpton and Ola Ann Book as we knew them. Who is directing this wonderful show? Why its Wayne Harmon. Wayne seems to be leaving this program and going somewhere else in the station. I'll bet he has another program to direct. Yes, he does, and it is the Dave Metzler Hourf' Mister TV himself. Dave has really gone places with his singing. I hear there is going to be a symphony concert in Youngstown tonight, and I have a feeling we will see some familiar faces there. So let us be off for Youngstown.
