Rayburn SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY Let's all imagine that we are taking a trip ten years in the future. We will have an opportunity to see if the 1954 graduates of Jackson-Milton High School have really attained their ambitions. So, all set now, let your imaginations transport you to many different places. First, we find ourselves in the state of Ohio, at the Governor's man- sion. The first person we see is the honorable Governor himself, Ed Ipe. He is flanked by,his two trustworthy assistants, Tom Lacusky and Charles Wilson. They seem to be having a serious conversation with the famous criminal lawyer, Bill Walter. In another room of the mansion, we see Ohio's First Lady, none other than the former Patty Walton, conversing with the well-known fashion designer, Donna McDonal, on the subject of a future wardrobe. These former seniors have really found success for themselves! But, now, let's travel on to a different section of the country. Those huge buildings look familiar. Why, no wonder, that's the school these seniors graduated from! Look! There's the football team coming out to practice! And look who their coach is! Why-it's Glenn Harshman! The school has won many trophies under his excellent leadership. They must really be proud of him! Let's look into the school itself now. As we wander through the halls, we see one of the teachers, Annabelle Bailey, talking with the music teacher, Janet Miller. As we travel over the countryside, we pass the luxurious home of the millionaire, Harry Waddington. We observe this famous classmate of ours, as he arranges with the famous comedy team of Bud Warner and Robert Schliecher, for an appearance on one of his numerous TV shows. We stop for a short while at a large city hospital, where we see a large group of those famous in the medical and scientific fields. Among them we recognize the noted scientist Paul Kovach with his nurse Rodella Leichliter, and his private secretary Millie Carnessali. V P f I I T Farther along, we see the skilled doctor, Bob Brown, accompanied by his efficient nurse, Barbara Daugherty. This small group, by working closely together, have made discoveries of great benefit to the world! Well, we must leave this interesting scene for a while. This time we stop at a great, wide-spreading farm. This huge establishment is owned and operated by Tom McDougal and Charles Berry. Tom McDougal is, at this moment, dictating a letter to his secretary, Margie Davis. Charles Berry is having a friendly chat, with an old classmate of his, Jesse Crum, who is now the manager and co-owner of the Standard Steel Spring Corporation. We now pass over the many car lots owned by Nick Hlywa. On one of his testing grounds, we observe Rudy Pence and James Welsh, as they carefully note the performance of a new-type automobile. These two are authorities on this subject and are always in great demand for their pro- fessional opinions. We now stop briefly at the radio station of WWVA. Here, we see Dick Ramsey, better known as Tex, as he rehearses for tonight's personal appearance. Talk about dreams coming true! We now travel quite a long distance this time. We find ourselves at the University of Wisconsin. There is Bill Andrews, now coach, after he was such a great star in three major competitive sports. Ony one more stay to make now! In a large city, we see the famous model, Betty Cribley, with her agent, Vera Stevens, and her secretary, Marlene Harris. What a wide variety of fields these graduates have found success in! Thanks for accompanying me on this trip into the future. I hope everyone has found it interesting. - ,54 CLASS H1sToRY The first day in high school was a long awaited event. Finally that time came.
