While AIDS was the biggest issue in the eyes of the students, it was only ranked fifth by the faculty. l. substance abuse 2. lack of emphasis on education 3. breakdown of the family 4. pollution 5. AIDS By a sweeping majority, the faculty picked the students as the one thing that they like the most about teaching at J.M.H.S. The yearbook staff decided to poll the faculty at Jackson Memorial High School to serve as an interesting comparison to the senior poll found on pages 66 and 67. The faculty seemed to be very diversified in their opinions, so there were few clear cut favorites. The results that appear below are a sampling of the answers received from this year's faculty. There was no way possible to determine the fa- vorite song of our teachers because no two polls came in the same. The replies ranged all the way from classical to Top 40. Here are some of the more interesting and diversified responses. 'ff Q , ,T.-Av When asked what their plans were for after they finished teaching at J.M.H.S., the faculty answered: travel-672, another job-57, undecided-SZ write-ins-231, Cwhich included sanitarium, retirement and an- other careerj Again, this category, favorite musical group, brought in very diversified replies, however, The Beach Boys did recieve top ranks, followed by Bruce Springsteen. Other favorites included The Beatles, Earth, Wind and Fire, Alabama and Foreigner.
