651,45 nop ecy Since I graduated from high-school, which adds up to be about 20 years ago, I became the wife of Don Scherger. Don had done very well for himself. He is the President of the Scherger Construction Cornpany, one of the most famous construction companies in the country. Since we were wealthy, we decided to take a trip around the world by plane. Driving to the airport we stopped to get gas, and while waiting for some service we noticed the sign on the building Carl Bricker Proprietor. We went in to talk to Carl and found out that he owned quite a large chain of gas stations throughout Ohio. We were so interested in talking with Carl about the new type of gas that Scientist Ronald Krupp developed that we lost track of time and almost missed our plane. We were really glad to hear that Ronnie did many other things towards the development of Science. While at the airport we noticed a familiar face. We went over to see who it was and recognized that it was Jean Lanning, now Mrs. Ierry Ash. lean and Ierry were on a tour of the country to exhibit Ierry's -prize steer, which he later sold for S5U,0U0. I learned from Jeannie that she was co- owner of a beauty school with Carolyn Thaxton. She also told me that Carolyn created a new hair style that was sweep- ing the country and was used by Bridget Bardot in her latest picture. Boarding the plane we were very much surprised to see that Paulette Huffman had become an Airline Stewardess. Talking to Paulette we found out that she was getting married but would not tell us to whom. Paulette had not changed much because she still kept us guessing. While' on our stop-over in Chicago for two hours, we learned that there was a Coaches Convention in session and that Ron Hedden was named Coach of the Year. He was attending the convention with his wife Ruth Edinger. While Ron was at the convention, which was for men alone, Ruth made a few guest appearances at some of the local night clubs and T, V. stations as a singer. We were fortunate en- ough to catch one of her night club shows, but nearly missed the plane again talking with her. On our visit in Indianapolis, Indiana, we attended the Indianapolis Speedway Races and were so happy to see that Raymond Reidling won first place. We learned after the race, by talking with him, that he couldn't have won if it had not been for lim Williams who kept his racer in top con- dition. Iim turned out to be a very famous mechanic. We were disappointed that we couldn't talk to lim but we had to catch our next plane to Los Angeles, California. In California we met lane Watson who was teaching Elementary School in one cf the biggest schools in California. She told us that Ianet Feasel, now Mrs. Clark Boatman, was living some- where in Los Angeles, but didn't know quite where. We in- quired and found out that she lived on 77 Sunset Drive. We walked up to the door cf a beautiful mansion, which she could afford since she was the wife of a big executive business man, I rang the doorbell and her daughter answered. The reason I knew she was her daughter was because she looked exactly like Janet. She reminded me of the time when we were in school, but not enough for the sentimental part. I was sorry to hear that she had gone to a dinner and that we would have to leave town without seeing her.

To Mrs. Murphy, we do will and bequeath a second year shorthand class that can take one hundred words a minute. To Mr. Davis, we do will and bequeath five more boys for the varsity to take the place of the seniors. To Mr. Foulkes, we do will and bequeath five good Welders from the senior class of '59. To Mrs. Emmert, We do will and bequeath an English Litera- ture class that knows all about Macbeth. To Mrs. Lee, we do will and bequeath an intelligent senior 'Home Economics class. To Miss I-luii, we do will and bequeath six more mouths to be working while instructions are being given in band. To Mr. Hoover, we do will and bequeath a second period study hall that studies all period. To Rev. Hoover, We do will and bequeath a democracy class as willing to give floor talks. To Mrs. Strawman, we do will and bequeath our hope that she enjoyed this year. To Mrs. Ingram, we do will and bequeath another adding machine from the bookkeeping class. To Mr. Massie, we do will and bequeath all our chewing gum found under the desks. To Mr. Gee, we do will and bequeath Z2 less kids to mess up the buses. To the cooks, we do will and bequeath 22 less lunches to prepare. To the cheerleaders, we do will and bequeath more girls to take the place of Ruth and Carolyn. I, Ianet Feasel, do will and bequeath my ability to go steady with Clark for three years to Cindy Hedden as long as it's with Larry. I, Larry Ginnever, do will and bequeath my straight hair and ability to stay away from girls to Melvin Goon. Scherger. I, Beatrice Kellar, do will and bequeath my ability to get along with the junior girls to Betty Calwell. I, Frances Kettler, do will and bequeath my blonde hair to ludy Roth providing she keeps it that Way. I, Iudy Kissling, do will and bequeath my hair-do to Nancy Compton. I, Ronnie KruPP, do will and bequeath my willingness to argue in class to anyone who can do a better job. I, lean Lanning, do will and bequeath my ability to stay out of the food in the cafeteria to Bill McGough. I, Peggy Meyer, do will and bequeath my dark eyes and hair to Alberta Hollinger. I, Earl Myers, do will and bequeath my orneryness to Ianet Harrison. I, Tom O'Toole, do will and bequeath my last seat in the second row in study hall to anyone that can be quiet. C2155 nop ec? In Europe we met Wendell Holman who was looking at the farms of different countries to see if he could build them up to the standards cf his mammoth farm in Wyoming. Wendell was considered to have the best knowledge of farming in the country. While walking down one the streets in Paris, we noticed a sign which read lack Harris Dentist. We stopped in to see lack and were surprised to see that Iack's nurse was Iudy Kissling, who graduated from Elkhart as the best dental nurse ever to graduate from there. While in Paris we stopped in one cf the banks to get some travelers checks cashed and saw Peggy Meyer. who was talking to the President of the bank, Earl I. Myers. Earl was president of the biggest bank in Paris. Peqqlf told us she was head secretary cf the bank and was named Miss Private Secretary. She told us that it we had time to go to Fort Worth, Texas on our way home, we would see Harold Hatfield play basketball. He was the top player and owner ct the World Trotters. We did, and Harold told us that he had played 385 games and won them all. At the end of our trip, back in Ohio, we had car trouble cn our way home. We stopped in a garage to get the car fixed and were very happy to see Larry Ginnever was the owner and mechanic. While talking to Larry, a car pulled up and a very sophisticated woman got out. It turned out to be Frances Kettler. Frances happened to come in because she had car trouble also. While Larry was fixing our cars, Frances told us that she was teacher and superintendent of the Consolidated Schools of Wood, Seneca, and Sandusky Counties: Lakota High School. Tom O'Toole was the only person out of our graduating class whom we didn't have a chance to see again. Just a minute, I'1l finish thee story as soon as I answer the door. It was Tom, and he is Working as a delivery man for a furni- ture store and was delivering our new living-room suite. Torn told us he was working there to save money to go to college. Tom would have gone to college sooner, but he served 15 years in the United States Navy. Beatrice Kellar
