Qur Parent Teachers' Association Irene Hartline, Secretary, William Holman, Vice President, Earl Myers, Presidentg Mary Striff, Treasurer. A membership campaign was conducted through the school. The chil- dren proved they were very able at getting members. The P. T. A. sponsored a fish supper and basketball games to raise money. The ladies game brought many a laugh and sore muscles. The game was Won by the Liberty women. The Liberty men also took the honor from the Jackson men for a very entertaining game. At Christmas time the children of the first and second grades presented the Christmas story under the direction of Mrs. Aldrich. Later Santa Claus r arrived to delight all the children with a candy treat. The association purchased library books, stage curtains, and dishes for the school. They also gave money toward the summer recreation program. Another entertaining minstrel was presented by the P. T. A. this year. The cast of sixty members kept the audience in laughter. It was presented two nights with real success.
