Chapter of Jackson School has shown a greater co-operative spirit and interest in the Vocational Agriculture program this year, under the supervision and guidance of Mr. Frank- lin George, Vo-Ag. instructor. Some of the activities of the chapter members were participation in Live Stock, Engineering, and farm shop judging conferences on the county, district and state levels. Leadership training was acquired by participation in parliamentary pro- cedure, Green Hand and Chapter Farmers cere- monies, community demonstrations and F.F.A. camp at Muskegon, Ohio. The money-making projects of the year were: selling seeds, a scrap drive and Farmer's Institute exhibits. Our chapter has accomplished a greal deal this year. Among these activities were: a skating party in October, celebration of national FHA Week, making a bulletin board, showing movies to the high school, havingan article in the paper, attending county FHA meetings at Greenville, andattendingMassat St. Mary's Catholic Church in Union City. During Christmas time we sent a $10.00 gift to a man and a girl in Germany. We had a talk on Grooming and Appearance in January. We had a bake sale in January to raise money for new curtains for our department. In February we had a sweetheart dance with the FFA and the high school mixed chorus.
