The familiar sign of Brooks Funeral Home on Union Street now reads: Subler Mortuary, Richard Subler, Mortician. Beneath the sign are the intimately-known words: The friendly undertaker. Jane Teegarden, a tight-rope walker, is professionly known as Gertie, the Wonder Woman g her lastest stunt is a senational, hair-raising ride across Niagara Falls on a bicycle. Since Clark Gable has retired to devote his time to his 15th wife, Lowell Threewits is currently reigning as The King of the Movies. Ah! Val- entino, old boy.
