NEVIN HIESTAND--- Keeping track of my thousands of chlokens and dozens of kids has kept me pretty busy these years, but I hope my kids will soon grow up so I can hurry and retire. Then a series of misfortunes, the most serious of which was Bobby Livingston's broken leg, damaged Jackson's chances of compiling a winning season. The team finished the season with a defeat by Union City East Side, 71-67, in a hard fought game. The season's record was 6-13. We want to nay soecial recognition to the four seniors who nlayed basketball this year for the last time as Redskins. Bobby Livingston and Duane Jessup earned four letters in basketball. We will miss Bobby's scoring ability and fighting spirit. We will miss Duane's floor play and generalship throughout the game. Paul Lawson earned three letters in basketball. Those two-point Jump shots will be sorely missed next year. Kenny Bowman earned one letter and was always ready and eager to take the place of a starter when necessary. We are looking forward to a successful season next veer as six lettermen return for action.
