32.D.79A'7'.70.?V Mrs. Sue Hartman 2 N r -t.g.,1jig - K W S -f E .. y 'mf' The tribute in the yearbook is most often reserved for those who have been with the school for many years. This year the yearbook staff wishes to rec- ognize a person who has accomplished much in a short period of time and has made the students feel that she is deserving of this honor. Putting together a yearbook is no easy task for staff members or sponsors. Mrs. Sue Hartman sponsored the Silver Arrow for three years and she put in more time and work than any sponsor should. Mrs. Hartman also introduced a new club and lan- guage into the school. You may find her Spanish Club members breaking pinatas at Christmas or feasting at a traditional Mexican meal. Besides sponsoring Spanish Club she also finds time for Quill and Scroll. Through her Mass Media class, Mrs. Hartman communicates with the students on their own level. This is an untraditional class that crea- tes new and different experiences such as: evaluat- ing television, visiting radio stations, and produc- ing movies. Mrs. Hartman also plays many other roles. Besides her active life at school, she is a mother to her ei- ght month old daughter, Kimberly, wife to David, seamstress, decorator for her home, and a friend to faculty and neighbors. We wish to honor this teacher who has proven that one can accomplish much in a short period of time, therefore, we dedicate this, the 1977 Silver Arrow, to Mrs. Sue Hartman, a friend and teacher.
