Mr. Donald Montgomery This was the second year that the Jackson Dramatics Club performed a children’s play for the benefit of the elementary students. The unique feature of the children’s theater was their attempt to obtain the students attention by having them participate in the play in some way. The stu- dents found The Ransom of Red Chief” to be very enjoyable. But the play was not just a play for elementary students; it was an entertaining play for any audience. , W K 1 29

Dramatics and Thespians Dramatics and Thespians were involved in many fine productions. These included Pil- low Talk,” a religious production, a Children’s Theater, a Talent Night, and the musical. Throughout the year they had clinics at which they experimented with various the- atrical techniques. Their activities were not always associated with stage productions.
