Swinging down the field to Mississippi Mud, the impressive drills executed by the 108 bandsmen were performed to such favorites as Alexander’s Ragtime Band, Jazz on Parade,†Charleston,†Just One of Those Things,†and That’s Enter- tainment.†The night of the Timken game was a first for the Jackson Gridiron. Mr. Montgomery and Mr. Herncane proudly display their prize Christmas tree. 214 Tom Hungeimann, Bill Malloy, and Mike Seifert find Mr. Steel’s Physics experiment rather amusing. The Sophomores surprise the school by decorating their hall superbly. Our trophy case boasts the many trophies and awards of this year’s athletes. 21! Mr. Roland, Athletic Director, is caught practicing his juggling act. An empty hall offers the perfect atmosphere for taking a test. â–¡ â–¡â–¡C Another year has come and gone at Jackson, but during the year the annual staff has tried to capture some of the memories. It has taken many hours to prepare this book, but they were some of the best hours we have ever had. Our birthday parties, pretend birthday parties, and no-special-cause parties were a pleasant break from the monotony of croppers, copy, and lay-outs. We became a team striving for a common goal. We would like to thank Mr. Steve, the entire faculty and administration, Troup and Pluto Studios, and Mike Nolan, our representative from Taylor Publishing Company, for helping with the preparation of the 1976 SCOOP. Our most sincere thanks go to Mrs. Corinne Fulton, our advisor, for the time she has given and devotion she has shown during the past year. We hope we have done our job well and that this book holds as many pleasant memories for you as it does for us. The Scoop Staff C e WWo £Fp BlRCtC Uf?AJ Zest, 216
