Man’s Way of Communicating Through the ages, man has conveyed his ideas by means of literature. To open to the students the door that leads to this literature and to teach the gram- matical construction is the purpose of the English teacher. During a student's first two years at Jackson, literature and grammar are equally divided. Junior English consists mostly of American literature and neces- sary grammar.
