Our days with Jackson have meant group participation in classes, assemblies, and other activities that are a part of school life. We have all experienced the excitement of a foot- ball game, the fearful anticipation of report card day, and the mad scramble to get a place in the lunch line. We all know what it is like when that test grade turns out to be a little higher or lower than expected, when we are caught unpre- pared by a pop quiz, or when we are late for class and that locker door just won’t open. These experiences are typical but they have bound us together. We at Jackson have come to look upon ourselves, not as many individuals, but as one stu- dent body living and working together.
