Efficient Officers and Advisors Led Us SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS: Elaine Martin, Vice President; Larry Whitacre, Treasurer; Ronnie Emhoff, President; Jeanne Halter, Secretary. Entering the halls of Jackson as freshmen, the Class of 1963 quickly became acquainted with high school life. Remember our freshman year? A little disorganized perhaps but fun. Joining various activities, sell- ing stationery and ordering our class jackets, were the highlights of our first year. Bake sales, car washes and other projects characterized our sophomore year, along with the thrill of receiving our class rings. During our junior year we worked even harder to show the seniors how beautiful a prom could be— and we certainly showed them! On May 18 the ballroom of the Onesto Hotel was transformed for a stroll down Primrose Lane. At last the long awaited year arrived. During that year we had many things to look forward to—including the senior prom, Winter in the Alps, held at the Sachsenheim Club on December 29. And finally. Com- mencement. Whether, after graduation, we pursue our education or secure an occupation, we will carry with us the many happy memories of our high school years. The Senior Class wishes to express its sincere gratitude to our advisors, Mrs. Linin- ger, Mrs. Baxter, and Mr. Berg. With patience and understanding they have guided us through our high school years. 28

CLASSES Within the past two and one-half decades many per- sonable students have passed through these hallowed halls. Their decided marks of dis- tinction still remain either with the teaching staff or with their classmates. No matter how much we proclaimed our dislike for homework, tests, report cards, and discipline, the day of graduation brings with it a ring of finality and we quick- ly review our high school days with a wave of nostal- gia. 27
