Vice Presideni Eniering Jackson High as freshmen, 'rhe Class of I960 soon became acquainied wiih high school life. We look an aciive pari' in school acliviiies, and members gained recogni+ion in scholarship, leadership, and a'I'hle+ics, adding +o l'he presiige of Jackson. As a class, we showed greal' school spiril' and willingness 'io work in making all aciiviiies successful. We enioyed such even+s as our pizza parfy-dance, car washes, concerfs, assemblies, and many oihers. The English Li+era+ure s+uden+s will never forgel' +heir evening al' 'ihe Players' Guild, while +he commercial s+uden+s will look back on +heir various plani 'fours wiih fond recolleciion. Foofball and baskefball games seemed especially +hrilling fhis lasf year. We were plagued wiih a baHery of fesfs, which revealed knowledge gained over +he pasi iiwelve years of school. Climaxing four years of work and 'Fun, +he Seniors were honored ai ihe Junior-Senior Prom, Class Day, Baccalaureale, and iheir ul+ima+e goal, Commencement Wheiher, a'F+er graduarion, we pursue higher educafion or secure an occu- paiion, we will carry wi+h us many happy memories of our high school years.
