The easf en'I'rance +o 'rhe high school is a very familiar sigh? fo all Jackson sfudenfs and 'faculiy members. We open fhese doors each morning as we enfer info a day of confusion, foil, +rouble, and worlc mixed wiih fun, fellowship, and pleasanl' experiences. Faculfy and s'I'uden+s alilce express a sigh of relief when we close fhese doors behind us and leave fhe aciiviiies of +he day and go home +o relax. The Backbone Of The School Each Chrislmas lhe girls of fhe home economics classes make cookies and olher baked goods for 'lhe Teachers' lea. Here each slu- den+ gains knowledge he will carry wilh him 'rhe res+ of his life. One example of s+uden+s' differen+ choices in ac+ivi+ies is shown by ihe display of baked goods se+ up by +he girls in +he home econ- nomics classes. Students Are Influenced By Various Activities The junior high will soon move into a new building. These students will receive both more independence and more re- sponsibility, from which will de- velop well-rounded and mature young citizens in the com- munity. As a class, we showed greal' school spiril' and willingness 'io work in making all aciiviiies successful. We enioyed such even+s as our pizza parfy-dance, car washes, concerfs, assemblies, and many oihers.
