,4.s'.s'islz1l1f Principal Although his duties are just as numerous as the principal's, our as- sistant principal, Mr. Royal Dressel, gives of his valuable time to help the students of Jackson High School ' by serving as an advisor to many of the student government organiza- tions. Our student body otlicers know this man best as the kind, patient, and understanding person who helps them in overcoming diiicult prob- lems and who counsels them in their duties. Go see Nlr Rob ert Fedore in room 118 and he will be very happy to help you Throughout the year 'VIr Fedore adxises the members of the Jun 1or class on their programs their career and college plans and helps them with their social events He also finds time in his busy schedule to coach the Jackson High School golf team Nlr Fedore graduated from the University of 'Nlichigan receiving Bachelor of Arts and Nlaster of Arts degrees if wudgi ees' fi 5 is? i When the sophomores entered Jackson High School last fall, one of the first people that they met was Miss Ruth Coolidge, their grade counselor. They soon discovered that they could go to her office in room 118 at almost any time to ask her help with their college or program plans. Miss Coolidge also serves as Dean of Girls, advisor to the Hostess Committee, the Future Nurses' club, and as a chaperone for the cheerlead- ing squad at the away games. During the school day Mr Chris Jensen does many Jobs He teaches psychology classes serves as a twelfth grade counselor coaches the cross country and track teams and is a visiting teacher Most of the stu dents at Jackson High School know him best as the attendance officer Here Mr Jenson looks into the reasons for school absences After school hours he often chap erones school parties at the request of the school 'tice president Mr Jenson graduated fiom Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree He is also doing graduate work there , .
