The reserve basketball squad has a long- time Winning tradition at lackson High School and this year was no exception. Win- ning ten and losing five, the Little Vikings ran up the highest score in history by beat- ing Bay City Handy 75 to 30. Defeating Ypsi- lanti 55 to 26, Dick l-linkle furnished 20 of the Iackson points and therefore tied lack Mayo for scoring honor with ll9 points. The team, made up of seven juniors and tour sopho- mores, are looking forward to the coming year and another winning season. MAT MEN Roger Wilson and Kenyon Wood demonstrate a fundamental wrestling hold. Although the wrestling team, coached by Mr. Bender, didn't have one of its best sea- sons, the wrestlers and their loyal fans had lots of spirit and we are sure they will have a winning team next year. Ken Sayles, Iohn Washburn, and Ed Thompson were the most impressive wrestlers on the squad. The team beat Battle Creek twice and forced Ann Ar- bor to go all out to Win. Iackson made a comeback and won fourth place in the state meet at East Lansing, which enabled them to finish the season in fine style.
