Jennifer Morris, was an attendant on the Apple Festival Court. The cheerleaders had trucks in the parades; and students like Mike Ross enjoyed Wednesday off for the festival. Fall at JHS brings out excitement with sports, being with friends and enjoying the Apple Festival.

Gary. sp our local Hotary club set out for Australia in August of '87 and u, immediately started school. He was involved in various sports such as: soccer (he gained All League status), basketball, and tennis. He received a letter in each of them. Oriol said what he liked most about the United States was the people. He also said. I do promise to be back some day. He would also like to thank all the people for making his visit an enjoyable one. Foreign exchange student Myrna Gutierezz from Mexico spent this school year at JHS. She took classes in English. Typing, Journalism, and Computers along with Spanish III where she was an assistant to Mrs. Armstrong's period 1 class with Oriol Serrahima. This year two JHS students went to foreign countries to spend a year exploring different cultures. Sean Prunka, a junior, spent a year in Norway. He left last summer and returned home in July 88. Chris Scott spent a summer in Spain on a 4-H Am- bassador Program. Exchange Students 7
