Tough Loss At Convo For Varsity The Jackson Ironmen ended their season at the Convocation Center of Ohio University on March 16, 1985 to the sixth ranked team in the state, the Greenfield McClain Tigers. Even though the Ironmen suffered a tough loss of 78-64 they reached their goals; to score 100 points, to get Coach Hodson his 100th win, and to make it to the Convocation Center. It was definitely a glamorous season for the players as well as the fans. Members of the team: Seniors — Pat Stevens, Vince Wolford, Brad Poe, Brian Roseberry, Brad McCorkle, Eric Richards, and Rod Miller, Juniors — Mark Hammond, Shayne Poe, and Allan Dickerson. Convo action was fast-moving and disappointing for the Iron-men. Team members were psyched up for the game but were out-played and out-scored by Greenfield McClain Tigers, 78-64. 30 Varsity Basketball (Boys)
