Memories Are Forever! One Monday morning early in October the halls were buzzing with excitement. You could hear the phrase echoed over and over. “Are they here yet?” By third period it had been confirmed; the 1984 yearbooks were here. Crowds poured into room 210 the next morning to claim their Osky Wows. After the owners leafed through their new treasures they began to point things out to friends and pass books around for signatures. As the excitement began to die down, it was realized this, too, was a dimension in their year. Yearbook distribution day is a long-awaited happening. Students line up outside 210 with receipts in hand, waiting impatiently to see “memories” from the year before. 1. John Lewis and Chris Rose pick up their yearbooks. 2. Gil Coleman and Vivian Wood distribute the new book to Scott Spencer. 3. Connie Lowery, Becky Miller and Robin Swank display the 1984 Osky Wow. 4. Staffers Deanna Bragg and Alan Riegel distribute ’84 books. 5. Teresa Crabtree picks up her new yearbook. 16 Opening
