Apple Festival As the days of September started to pass, a familiar feeling started to take over the town of Jackson. The students of J.H.S. knew it could only signal one thing. The Apple Festival was near. For the seniors it was time to plan and erect the senior booth. For others it was time to prepare for parades and competitions. Some strolled through the streets playing games, riding rides, and eating. Others worked in various booths or watched entertainment at the grandstand. All in all, it was a time for the citizens of Jackson to celebrate together another dimension in our year. Pg. 8: Wendy Crabtree helps out by working in one of the many booths. 2. Seniors James Voiles, Don Bolen, Paul Rupert, Jared Downey, Mike Keeton, John Griffiths, Stephanie Hunter, and Marsha Hall help at the Senior booth. Michelle Tackett ponders her chances at one of the games. Pg. 9: 1. Doug Congrove, George Davis and friends enjoy a ride on the Scrambler. 2. Tom Sollars having fun with friends at the Apple Festival. 3. Kelley Wasmer sells apple pies at the band booth. 4.
