TQATION Mr. Thornton 1 Mr. Keairns One of the first persons you meet as you enter the high school is our very devoted and capable principal, Mr. Melbra Thornton. With sixteen years of service and achievement behind him, Mr. Thorn- ton can be justly proud of his outstanding record. Before receiving the position of principal, he served several years as a government teacher and a history teacher in our high school. His quiet and under- standing personality has endeared him to the fac- ulty and student body. One of the next persons you are sure to meet before you have gone very far is our most willing and capable assistant principal, Mr. E. S, Keairns. In addition to being assistant principal, Mr. Keairns teaches chemistry, physics and mathematics. Be- sides these duties, he is the advisor of the Osky Wow staff. It is realized that without his assistance and energy our book might not be published each year. We are fortunate to have such a friend and teacher on our staff. T' Carol johnson Annu Nail Of course you couldn't leave the building without meeting Anna Nail, secretary to Mr. Daugh- erty: and Carol Johnson, secretary to Mr. Thornton. We can never realize how much work they have to do. Writing absence slips, typing. filing, making out schedules and answering many questions from inquisitive students. They are known to all of the students for their kindness and helpfulness in an- swering questions and solving problems. These girls have much work to do in the summer as well as in the winter. It is hard to realize how they can do all their work so efficiently and we are sincerely grateful for all the tedious tasks they do for us. 1 s rn' if
